Youth sizing versus adult sizing

Youth S to XL covers roughly ages five to fourteen. Youth XL and adult S overlap in chest width, but youth XL is shorter in the body and narrower at the shoulder. For a twelve-year-old who wants a looser fit, adult S is often the better call.

Why the crew neck matters here

Kids shirts usually fail at the neckline first. The collar stretches, loses its shape, and the shirt looks worn out long before the print does. A ribbed crew neck holds up better through repeated washing, which is most of what determines how long a kids shirt actually gets worn.

One design, smaller sizes

Each design on this page also runs on a toddler shirt in 2T to 5T, and several run on a baby bodysuit in NB to 24M as well. The product page lists which sizes a given design is available in. Shipping to the US is free with no minimum, so ordering for siblings together costs no more than ordering separately.

Frequently asked questions

What ages do youth sizes cover?

Roughly five to fourteen, though it depends more on height than age. Check the size guide against a shirt that already fits rather than going by age alone.

Should I buy youth XL or adult S?

Adult S is longer in the body and wider at the shoulder. If your child wants a relaxed fit or is close to adult height, go adult S.

Can younger siblings get the same design?

Every design here also runs on a toddler shirt in 2T to 5T. Several also run on a baby bodysuit in NB to 24M, but not all of them, so check the product page.

Will the print crack?

It is printed into the fabric rather than layered on top, so it fades slowly with the shirt instead of cracking off. Washing cold and inside out slows that down further.

How should I wash them?

Cold wash, inside out, tumble dry low. No bleach, no ironing over the print.

How long does delivery take?

Printing takes a few business days, then shipping time. You get tracking when it leaves the facility.
