Graphic tees for the whole family

A short-sleeve cotton t-shirt carrying printed artwork, text or both. The practical test is whether the design was applied after the shirt was made. Printed artwork counts, embroidery and knitted-in stripes generally do not. The full explanation is here.

The adult tees have a relaxed unisex fit. Choose your usual size for a comfortable everyday fit, size up for a roomier look, or size down for a closer fit. For the most accurate fit, check the measurements in our Size Guide before ordering. Kids’ styles have their own sizing.

Let the tee be the only loud thing in the outfit. Plain denim or work trousers, one solid outer layer, no competing patterns. If you want to dress it up, an unstructured blazer over the top does most of the work.

Wash cold at 30°C or below, inside out, and tumble dry on low. Cracking is heat damage rather than wear, so a tee washed twice a week on a cold cycle outlasts one washed monthly on hot. Skip bleach, fabric softener and dry cleaning.

New shirts made to look and feel vintage. Garment dyeing produces the soft hand and slightly uneven, sun-faded tone of old cotton, with the advantage that you get your size and nothing is already thinning at the collar.

The adult Comfort Colors cotton is pre-shrunk, so movement after washing is minimal. What shrinkage does happen comes from heat, so a cold wash and a low dryer setting keep the measurements stable on every style.
