Sizes and how they run

Baby bodysuits are sized by age: NB (0-3M), 6M, 12M, 18M and 24M. Babies vary a lot at the same age, so if you are buying ahead or the baby is on the taller side, take the next size up. A bodysuit that is slightly big still works. One that is slightly small stops closing at the crotch within a few weeks.

Why the print is small

A bodysuit gives you a much smaller print area than an adult tee, so the designs here are pared back to the core element. A full-size chest print scaled down turns into a smudge, and very fine lines disappear entirely at this size.

Printed after you order

Nothing here is sitting in a warehouse. Each bodysuit is printed once you order it, which takes a few business days before it ships. That is slower than buying from a shelf, and it is the reason every design is available in every colour listed on this page instead of whatever happened to be stocked.

What size should I buy for a newborn?

NB covers 0 to 3 months. If the baby is already born and above average length, 6M is the safer buy, because NB is outgrown quickly.

How do the bodysuits close?

Snaps at the bottom, with soft ribbed binding and a wide neckline so it goes over the head without a struggle.

Can I get the same design on a toddler or youth shirt?

Yes. Every design in this collection also runs on the toddler shirt in 2T to 5T and the youth shirt in S to XL.

How should I wash them?

Cold wash, tumble dry low. The print holds up better inside out. Do not iron over the print.

How long does an order take?

Printing takes a few business days, then shipping time on top. You will get a tracking number when it leaves the print facility.

Are these a good baby shower gift?

They work well because they are not size-critical in the way shoes or hats are, and you can pick a size a few months ahead so the gift lasts past the first weeks.
